Zaide is a corporate type who wants to be a creative type. For the past decade, she has been working through the ranks of operational management in the public and private sectors, but over the last few years has gradually begun to turn back to her first love–writing. In addition to The Torrid Forties, Zaide maintains a travel blog titled Valise in Wonderland and is also dipping her toes into fiction with her paranormal romance, Overture, written under the name Issa Puppi.  A native of Pittsburgh, Zaide now makes her home in South Florida with her husband and son.
